The case against three Sudanese Christians and a Czech believer continues today when they are due to appear again in court in Khartoum.
Please pray God’s peace over our brothers, pastors Hassan Abduraheem and Kowa Shamaal, Abdulmonem Abdumawla and Petr Jašek.
Sudanese officials have accused the four of funding rebel movements in areas such as Darfur and South Kordofan. Two of the charges are ‘waging war against the state’ and spying, crimes that carry a potential death sentence.
The four men are able to receive visits from family members and their lawyers although Petr Jašek has been denied access to consular assistance.
- That the men would know God’s strength and comfort and that there would be a fair judicial process without any more delays.
- That the judges assigned to the case will uphold justice and not be swayed by any anti-Christian agenda, and that the accused will be released soon.
